Inam naxalite woman arrested

Naxalist woman Sajanti, who brought a total reward of 14 lakh rupees from various states, has been arrested from Chicharangpur forest in Madhya Pradesh. During police interrogation she stated that she did not want to become a Naxalite, but was forcefully brought into this world. He said that during Sajanti’s interrogation it was revealed that he had no parents and only two sisters and a brother. Sajanti was the eldest among three siblings. Sajanti did not want to become a Naxalite, but the Naxalites took him along by force and made him do what he did not want to do.
Joined CPIM in 2011
Sajanti, a resident of Gadchiroli district in Maharashtra state, joined the Naxalist CPIM party in 2011 and was posted to the MMC zone in 2016. And since then she was working in KB division. 6 cases have been registered against this Naxalite woman in Madhya Pradesh alone. In one of these cases, a villager was killed in Malkhedi on suspicion of being an informer for Naxalites. This was also included. A reward of Rs 3 lakh was announced in Madhya Pradesh, Rs 5 lakh in Chhattisgarh and Rs 6 lakh in Maharashtra.
Husband killed in Naxalite encounter
Sajanti’s husband was also a Naxalite. Husband Ganesh was involved in Naxalite Dalam and in 2021-22 he was killed in a police-Naxalite encounter at Jamshera Forest outpost. Balaghat IG Sanjay Singh said that Sajanti’s training took place in Thanda area and Naxalite Pahar Singh was the one who trained him and Sajanti completed his training under the supervision of this Pahar Singh. After completion of training, Sajanti was posted to KB department in 2016. Since then she has been continuously active in this department.
