Former Haryana Minister Kiran Chaudhary has now joined BJP
Ahead of the Haryana assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has given a major blow to the Congress. Congress MLA Kiran Chaudhary and her daughter Shruti Chaudhary have resigned from the party and the mother-daughter duo joined the BJP today on Wednesday. In his resignation letter, Kiran Chaudhary has made a big accusation against Bhupendra Singh Hooda. Kiran Chaudhary has written in his resignation letter that the Congress party in Haryana has become the property of only one person.
After the Lok Sabha results, a fight over ticket distribution broke out in the Haryana Congress and as a result Congress MLA Kiran Chaudhary resigned from the party. For the past few days, there has been a political upheaval in Haryana politics regarding the distribution of tickets within the Congress. In this battle, Bhupendra Singh Hooda and Haryana Congress President Uday Bhan were on one side and Kiran Chaudhary, Kumari Shailja and Randeep Singh Surjewala were on the other side, but now Tosham MLA Kiran Chaudhary is also in the middle of this battle. Said goodbye to Congress.
Haryana Congress erupted into factionalism
Kiran Chaudhary has separated from his daughter Shruti Chaudhary. The resignation letter sent by Kiran to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge gives a clear picture of how the Congress is burning into factionalism in Haryana. In his resignation letter, Kiran Chaudhary wrote that the party in Haryana is being run like a private estate, leaving no room for an honest voice like mine, I have been systematically suppressed, humiliated and a conspiracy has been hatched against me. and I was prevented from representing our people and upholding the values for which I have always stood.

Shruti Choudhary wrote in her resignation letter, “I continued to work honestly without any selfishness. Congress is the only person left in Haryana. That person compromised the interest of the party for selfish reasons. That person put his own interests ahead of the party. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve people.” Kiran Choudhary and Shruti Choudhary’s allusion was to Bhupendra Singh Hooda, as Kiran was angry over his daughter Shruti Choudhary not getting a ticket from the Bhiwani-Mahendragarh seat, and Kiran Choudhary’s anguish came up several times in front of the camera after the election results.
What a big blow for Congress
So now both Kiran Chaudhary and Shruti Chaudhary have joined BJP. Kiran Chaudhary is currently the Congress MLA from Tosham, Bhiwani, while his daughter Shruti Bhiwani has been an MP from the Mahendragarh seat. Assembly elections in Haryana are due later this year and with only four months to go, this is a major blow to the Congress ahead of the election season. Kiran Chowdhury is considered a big Jat face in Haryana and has the heritage of the Bansilal family. Bansilal was the former CM of Haryana. Kiran Chaudhary was elected as MLA for three consecutive terms from Bhiwani’s Tosham. He was the Leader of Opposition in 2014 and before that he was also a minister in the Hooda government for 10 years.
In fact, this time Shruti Chaudhary’s name was also in the race for Bhiwani Mahendragarh seat, but she was not given a ticket. The Congress had fielded Rao Dan Singh, a close associate of Bhupendra Hooda, as its candidate for the Bhiwani Mahendragarh seat, who lost the election to incumbent BJP MP Dharamvir Singh by 5 lakh 8664 votes. However, Congress has performed better in Haryana compared to 2019 and this time Congress won 5 out of 10 seats. The BJP holds 5 seats, but some Congress leaders feel that the Congress could have done better in Haryana if the party had given tickets properly. Among these, the first name is that of Kiran Chaudhary and the second name is that of Congress MP Kumari Selja from Sirsa.
There may still be more rebels
Assembly elections in Haryana are approaching, but before that, the party’s troubles may be exacerbated by infighting within the Congress, which has erupted peacefully with the resignation of Kiran Chaudhary. The political story of factionalism in Haryana is not new. Even in the 2019 assembly elections, factionalism was evident in the Congress. As a result, Congress faced defeat for the second time in a row in the 2019 assembly elections.
Now it is also being speculated that many big faces of the Congress may join the BJP before the Haryana assembly elections. Kiran Choudhary has influence in Tosham, Niharu, Bari, Bhiwani and Nangal Choudhary and many surrounding areas and it is being said that he can make a significant impact on 3 to 4 assembly seats. The biggest thing is that even today it is still active among people.
