The case of murder of Sufia Khatoon of Sigaria village of Motihari, Bihar has come to light. Sufiana was killed by her own brother. The accused brother has confessed to the crime. He said that his sister had an affair with some village boys. He tried to convince his sister a lot, but when she did not agree, he finished his story with his cousin.
The police arrested both the accused and produced them before the court, from where they have been sent to jail for 14 days judicial custody. This event is on June 7, 2024. On that day, the police recovered the dead body of Sufiana Khatun from Sareh of Sigaria village. The police identified the body from the villagers and started investigating the case with dog squad and forensic team. During the investigation, the police released a sniffer dog from the scene several times, but each time it stopped outside Sufiana’s house.
Brother Rizwan got suspicious
This made the police suspicious and they further investigated the case with the help of electronic surveillance. Sufiana’s brother, Rizwan, was blamed for this. After this the police took Rizwan into custody and interrogated him. At first Rizwan tried to mislead the police, but when the police applied some strictness he not only confessed to the crime but also revealed the name of his friend and cousin Azad. After which the police arrested both the accused.

WhatsApp chat with many boys
Rizwan told during police interrogation that his sister Sufiana was having an affair with some boys from the same village. Due to which the family was getting disgraced. He said that his sister was in a WhatsApp group of such boys. Several objectionable WhatsApp chats were also recovered from his mobile. After this he explained a lot to his sister, but she did not believe. Eventually he hatches a plan to kill his sister and implicates his cousin Azad.
The police sent him to jail
After the full proof plan was prepared, the sister was called from home on the night of 7 June 2024 and stabbed to death 25 times. Not only this, after committing the crime, he hid his clothes in the garden and pretended to come home to find his sister and told the police that he committed the crime to avoid public embarrassment. The police have registered a case against the accused and sent him to jail.
