Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren will expand the cabinet on Monday in his third tenure. CM Soren will first seek a vote of confidence in the Assembly on Monday. After that at 3.30 pm in the Raj Bhavan, their ministers will be sworn in. The swearing-in ceremony has been organized at the Birsa Pavilion of the Raj Bhavan. In such a situation, speculations have started regarding the inclusion of ministers in Hemant Soren’s cabinet.

Hemant Soren became the chief minister of the state for the third time after being released on bail in the land scam case and was sworn in as the chief minister on Thursday. Although it was said that the ministers would be sworn in with him that day, Hemant Soren was later sworn in as the CM alone.

After his release from jail on 28 June, Champai Soren resigned as CM and Hemant Soren was unanimously elected as its leader by the Grand Alliance.

Congress quota minister Alamgir resigned after the tender scam. Due to which only three ministers are left from the Congress quota. In such a situation, it is being speculated that Irfan Ansari may be made a minister, as he is the only minority face of the Congress.

Kalpana Soren from JMM quota. Basant Soren, Hafijul Ansari, Mithilesh Thakur, Baby Devi and Deepak Birua are likely to be included in the cabinet. At the same time, Baidyanath Ram, a Scheduled Caste, may also be made a minister to resolve the caste equation ahead of the assembly elections. Apart from this, RJD MLA Satyanand Bhokta may also be included in the cabinet.
