Heavy rain from Rajasthan to Odisha, IMD red alert in MP, know weather of 10 states including UP-Bihar

Monsoon is in full form from north to south and from east to west. Since last two days, many states including Rajasthan, Gujarat, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh have been receiving heavy rains. Due to this, flood situation has occurred in many areas. At the same time, there is devastation in the lower reaches of the Gandak and Kosi rivers in Bihar. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the low pressure is still present in the Bay of Bengal and is moving steadily towards the north-western states of the country. Because of this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the coastal areas of Orissa till today evening.

Similarly, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Telangana are also likely to receive heavy rains. According to the Meteorological Department, there was heavy rain in Delhi NCR on Monday. Similarly, many parts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have received light rain. While a dozen states including Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Odisha have received light to moderate rain. A similar situation is going to happen again today in all these states. Cloudy skies and light to moderate rain at few places are expected throughout the day, especially in Delhi NCR.

Heavy rains in MP

In the forecast issued on Tuesday, the Meteorological Department said that Odisha, Vidarbha, West Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh are likely to experience heavy rains. Orange alert has been declared for these states. While a red alert has been issued for heavy rains in many parts of Madhya Pradesh. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a normal rain alert in Delhi and Bihar today. It has been said that in these two states today there may be moderate rain in some places and heavy rain in other places.
