In West Bengal, a junior doctor was raped and murdered at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. The body of the doctor was found on Friday morning. On Saturday, the police arrested the accused in this case. He visited the hospital frequently. Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi has described this incident as heartbreaking. He has also appealed to the state government.

In the same post, he has also appealed to the Chief Minister of the state, Mamata Banerjee. He has said that, I appeal to the state government to take immediate and strict action in this matter. The victim’s family and fellow doctors should get justice.

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee’s statement has also come. On Monday, he said, if the police failed to solve the case of the murder of a woman doctor at RG Kar Hospital by Sunday, the investigation would be handed over to the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation).

CM Mamata Banerjee said that she wants the matter to be heard in court immediately. The CM reached the victim’s house. After meeting the victim’s family, he said that if the police fail to solve the case by Sunday, we will hand over the case to the CBI.
