The incident took place in Gopalpur village of Majola police station area on Monday night. On getting the information, the police reached on Tuesday morning, took possession of both the bodies and sent them for postmortem. The police are investigating the matter. This incident has spread sensation in the district. Several officials, including the SSP himself, have inspected the spot.
Police have deployed dog squad along with forensic experts to investigate the case. According to the police, the bodies of the young man and the young woman were found in their room this morning. The body of the young man was found on the bed, while the body of his wife was found hanging. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the youth first killed his wife and then hung her body from a fan. After this he also committed suicide. The police reached on getting the information and sent the dead bodies for post-mortem.

The sister-in-law of the deceased youth has filed a police complaint. He said that there were regular fights between his brother-in-law Mukesh and his sister-in-law. Her brother-in-law had a love marriage with her sister-in-law two years ago. A few days after this marriage, her sister-in-law came in contact with Sunil, a powerful young man living in the same city. According to the young man’s sister-in-law, his daughter-in-law was earning and his wife was spending on her lover. There were daily disputes on this matter.
