A sensational case has come to light in Gulriha, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. A girl committed suicide here. The body of the girl was found hanging from the fan. They allege that because of the young man, the daughter fell into depression and committed suicide.
Villagers said that the girl, a resident of village Narayanpur number two in Gulriha police station area, fell in love with a boy from her village, Manish, while studying in school. After completing his studies from school, he reached college. Meanwhile, the young man raped her after promising marriage. The girl’s family told the police that the young man had also made an obscene video of their daughter. He repeatedly called her and blackmailed her with promises of marriage and raped her.
The family made allegations
The family alleged that the daughter pressured them many times to get married, but he kept putting it off. Not only this, four months ago, the daughter went to the young man’s house and insisted on marriage. The accused youth Manish was at home at that time. He seduced her and later sent her back home with a promise of marriage. Later he refused to marry. In such a situation my daughter was very disturbed. We tried to understand the young man but he was not ready to believe.
According to the family members, the marriage of the daughter was fixed at another place, when the accused came to know about this, he broke the marriage by sending photos and videos there and said that we will get married. Our relationship has been going on for more than five years. We both live as husband and wife. This can also be proved by video and photo. After breaking up the marriage, when we asked the accused to marry her, he again refused and ran away.
Family members said that last Saturday too, the young man talked to his daughter on the phone for hours. When my daughter asked for marriage, she said I am out now. Just started a new job. No holiday soon. When my daughter pressured him, he refused to marry. He used to ask you to postpone work etc. Listen to one thing carefully, I am not going to marry you, you have to live with me the way you live. Hearing this, my daughter fell into depression. He also stopped eating and drinking. Even last night my daughter did not eat anything and slept with her room door closed from inside. When we called him to open the gate, he refused saying he was sick. She said she would get up in the morning and take food. At night he ended his life by hanging himself with a fan. This came to light when his gate did not open in the morning.

In this matter, based on the complaint of the deceased’s family, the police have registered a case of inciting suicide against the accused youth Manish. The family members blocked the Gorakhpur-Maharajganj road demanding his arrest. However, after the persuasion of the police, they lifted the jam. During this time there was great chaos. Regarding this, CO Gorakhnath Yogendra Singh said that a case has been registered against the accused youth. A police team has been deployed for the arrest. He will be arrested soon.
