I wondered why so many people from Haryana were going to America. There I met people from Haryana in Dallas. There, 15 to 20 people were sleeping in a room, I asked them how he came to America. He gave me a list of countries. In which he reached there again from many countries via Turkey-Tajikistan. We were robbed several times during our tour of America. We have seen our people die with our own eyes. He said that we have reached here by spending 30-35 lakh rupees. For this he had to sell his land too. Many people took loans from banks at exorbitant rates.
Rahul said that if you are not from a rich family, you don’t even get a loan. The youth of Haryana are being forced to sell their farms and go to America. Unemployment is at an extreme here.
Election campaigning for assembly elections in the state is gaining momentum. Rahul Gandhi addressed a large rally in support of party candidate Shamsher Singh Gogi for Asandh seat in Karnal district.
