The mob beat him up
Two migrant laborers were brutally beaten up on suspicion of eating beef in Haryana’s Charkhi Dadri. One of them was killed while the other was seriously injured. Haryana Police has arrested seven people involved in this incident. Three of them have been sent to judicial custody. The rest are on police remand. All are being questioned.
The police sent samples of the banned meat to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for testing. The entire incident took place on 27th August. Informing about the entire incident, DSP Bharat Bhushan of Badra said that on August 27, we received information that some people were eating forbidden meat in the slums of Hansawas Khurd village. People from that organization were also present there who complained.
The police sent the meat sample to the FSL lab
We went there and took samples of the meat eaten and sent it to the FSL lab for testing. Further action will depend on the lab report. The DSP said that in the midst of all this, based on suspicion, the complainants went to another slum, kidnapped and beat up two people, during which one person died and another was injured.

So far 7 accused have been arrested
He further said that police took immediate action and arrested seven accused, out of which 3 have been sent to judicial custody and 4 are on police remand. Investigation is on and if other names come out they will also be arrested.
The victim is a resident of North 24 Parganas of West Bengal and used to work as a garbage collector. One company each of SSB and State Police is stationed here. We also constantly monitor social media posts.
