Haryana: Bengal laborer beaten up on suspicion of eating beef, 5 members of cow protection group arrested

A horrifying video has surfaced from Haryana’s Charkhi-Dadri. Here a migrant laborer was beaten on suspicion of eating beef. The police have arrested five people of the Gau Raksha Dal on this charge. Two juveniles involved in the case have also been arrested. The laborer has been identified as Sabir Malik, a resident of West Bengal. The incident took place on 27th August.

Two laborers were badly beaten on suspicion of eating beef in Haryana’s Charkhi Dadri district, police said. The beating was so severe that Sabir Malik, a resident of West Bengal, died while another person was seriously injured.

In the video, it can be clearly seen that one youth is beating another youth with sticks. There were many people present but no one tried to stop them.
