Hardoi is also in a similar situation. In four talukas of Hardoi district, life has been disrupted due to floods in Gara river. 117 villages have been affected due to sudden rise of water in Gara. An area of ​​12000 hectares has been submerged, while 83 schools have been closed due to the severity of the flood. Due to the waterlogging of the electric sub station, the supply has been completely disrupted in the area.

Besides, the villages have become complete islands as all communication routes are flooded. SDRF and Flood PAC are working to rescue people. People are going to higher places. Also, food and drink arrangements are being made for the people by the district administration. A drowning person was also rescued by the flood PAC personnel. At present, the taluka areas of Hardoi, Hardoi Sadar, Shahabad, Swajpur, Bilgram have been submerged due to Dara river floods.

Thousands of people affected

Hundreds of thousands of people have been affected due to the inundation of Garra river in more than hundred villages. The crop is completely submerged in water. Flood victims are earning their livelihood by putting up huts and tarpaulins on the roadside. In some places, fodder is not reaching the animals, although the district administration is claiming to have made all the arrangements. On the other hand, after the water recedes, the fear of epidemic has also started bothering the residents here. People are facing a food crisis due to the sinking of everything. Flood PAC personnel have rescued a youth from drowning in deep flood waters.

Flood PAC saved the young man’s life

Reserve Sandeep Kumar said that he along with his partner Rohit Yadav rescued a youth who was drowning in the river. He said Sandeep Kumar, a resident of Pihani, was crossing the deep water to his father-in-law, when suddenly he started drowning and screaming seeing him drowning, PAC jawans Arvind Singh and Rohit Yadav saved his life and handed him over to the local Pali police. Currently people are being given relief but till the water level comes down people will continue to suffer.
