A lost painting seen in Hania Aamir’s drama
Pakistani actress Hania Aamir is always in the news. Currently, she is everywhere with her new drama ‘Kabhi Mein Kabhi Tum’. The drama stars Fahad Mustafa as the lead actor. The pair of the two and this drama is being liked a lot. Recently, a big revelation has been made in a scene of ‘Kabhi Mein Kabhi Tum’. One of his scenes is shot in an art gallery, where several paintings are displayed. Pakistani artist Safi Soomro claims that the painting used in this scene is his painting, which was lost 7 years ago.
In fact, while talking about the painting shown in a scene from ‘Kabhi Mein Kabhi Tum’, the artist said that he had given away some of his paintings during an exhibition held at Freire Hall in Karachi in 2017, one of which was a painting. Don’t get it back. Safi said he was told that the painting had been lost to him. Seeing his painting like this, he said that he had been cheated. This painting was his work belonging to the Department of Fine Arts, University of Sindh.

The artist posted on social media
Posting about it on his social media handle, he wrote, “Asalamu Alaikum… I am a resident of Safi Soomro Ghotki district, I am an artist. In 2017, I lent my paintings to an exhibition at Friar Hall and after the exhibition ended, I asked for them back. However, I was told that my painting was lost. I tried so hard, but after a while, I gave up thinking that maybe she really was lost. We are human after all.”
But later he got a glimpse of his painting in the 17th episode of ‘Kabhi Mein Kabhi Tum’. To which he said, “I was lied to. Only to sell it or reuse it, I was told my painting was lost. I haven’t even been given credit for this painting yet. This is my painting and I have the proof.”
The production company fell by the wayside
The scene is filmed when Immad Irfani and Ariz Chaudhary are talking about painting together in an art gallery. After this post of the artist, the production company of ‘Kabhi Mein Kabhi Tum’ Big Bang Entertainment issued a statement and distanced itself from the matter. The production company said, “The space where the scene was shot and the paintings were used was hired.
After the artist’s post, we came to know that the painting used in our play was used without the artist’s permission. The company said in its statement that it has no involvement in the matter. After this matter came to light, there is anger among the people, seeing which Sindh Culture Minister Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah has ordered an inquiry into the matter.
