Sonbhadra police reached after getting information about the incident
Cases of ghosts and witchcraft do not seem to be stopping in Uttar Pradesh. In such cases people are not at all afraid of killing ties due to superstition. One such case has come to light in Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh. Here a young man has killed his own father on the advice of a ghost. The accused chopped off his father’s head with an axe. The accused is absconding since the incident. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took the dead body of the old man in their custody and sent it for postmortem.
In this case, the police are trying to identify the accused as well as the ghost who advised him. According to Sonbhadra police, the deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Soneshwar Kharwar. This incident has been carried out by his son Ramashankar alias Ravi Kharwar. According to the police, Ramashankar’s son had been ill for a long time. He suspected that someone had cast a spell on him. Hence he used to go to exorcist for treatment. After prolonged treatment and exorcism, his son was not cured, so he asked the exorcist why.
The head was cut off from the body with an ax blow.
Ojha said that the root of this problem is in his home. His own father has cast witchcraft on his son. After knowing this, the accused came home and started quarreling with his father. When his father tried to explain, the accused picked up an ax and chopped off his father’s head. After committing this incident, the accused fled from the spot. Sensation spread as soon as the incident was reported among the surrounding people.

Neighbors informed the police about this. As soon as the information was received, Additional SP Kalu Singh reached the spot along with Love Lashkar and conducted a post-mortem. After this the body was sent for postmortem. He said that the accused escaped after the incident, but the police have taken him into custody. Now the police is looking for the exorcist who instigated the accused for this incident.
