Governor of West Bengal CV Anand Bose
Mamata Sarkar is on target in West Bengal’s RG Kar Medical College rape case. Just yesterday, the Chief Minister of the state, Mamata Banerjee, apologized to the protesting doctors and said that she would step down as Chief Minister if she wanted to. Now Governor Anand Bose has hit out at Mamata, calling her the Lady Macbeth of Bengal and saying he will boycott her socially. The Governor accused the Chief Minister of violating Article 167 of the Constitution and said he would take active action against him.
Social ostracism will do
Accusing Mamata Banerjee of failing in her duty. She also fails to understand people’s feelings. Violence is happening everywhere in the state, violence is happening in campuses and even in hospitals. The Governor said that in such a situation, he cannot remain silent.
He said that the state secretariat would not be able to suppress public distrust for long. Eventually the truth will come out soon. I will boycott the Chief Minister to show solidarity with the people of Bengal. However, Governor Bose also clarified that by ‘socially boycotting’ Mamata, he meant that he would not share any public platform with Chief Minister Mamata.

Remove the Commissioner of Police
Bose said that the manner in which the police was investigating the case was suspicious, which is why the High Court handed over the investigation to the CBI. I asked the Chief Minister to take action against the Commissioner of Police, but he did not take any action. Now action needs to be taken against the Commissioner of Police.
