Government will educate the children of 121 families in Hathras accident, giving 2500 rupees per month

The government will bear the education expenses of the children of 121 families who died in a stampede during a satsang on July 2 at Sikandra Rau in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Child Protection Commission Chairman Dr. Devendra Sharma who came to Hathras has said this. Dr. Devendra has given this information in a press conference. On coming to Hathras, Dr. Devendra also reached Sukhna village and met the victim families. He said that two of the families who lost their loved ones in the accident also live in Sukhna.

Dr. Devendra said that three people of one family have died in Sukhna. The District Professional Officer has ordered that the children of the families who lost their loved ones in the stampede will be given ₹2500 per month under the Chief Minister’s Child Protection Scheme. Also, the government will be responsible for the education of the children of those families. Boys will be accommodated in Atal Awas Yojana and girls in Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalaya. So that there is no gap in their education, girls between zero and 18 years of age will be given 25 thousand rupees in 6 installments under the government’s Sumangal Yojana. Also, all the officials have been instructed so that the children of the victim’s family do not face any trouble.

19 families in Hathras

Devendra Sharma of the Child Protection Commission said that the government will bear the education expenses of 7 children from 19 families of Hathras district who died in the accident of Sikandra Rau of Hathras. 2500 rupees per month will be given to 7 children under the Chief Minister’s Child Yojana. Under the Sumangal Yojana, families with daughters will be given Rs 25,000 in 6 months for their education. He said that if someone is disabled in an accident, he will also get equipment.

Helped 121 families

Widows of those killed in accidents will get widow pension. These women will be given access to jobs available in Anganwadi. He said that the benefit of all these schemes will be given to the children and women of the families of 121 people from nearby districts who died in the accident.
