In the budget, Nirmala Sitharaman has announced that she will give Rs 26,000 crore to Bihar for roads alone. Apart from this, it has also been announced that she will help Bihar in the Industrial Corridor. In this budget, Nirmala has also announced the construction of two expressways and a bridge over the Ganga river. There is currently an NDA government in Bihar. Nitish Kumar had demanded a special status from the government. Which the central government refused to accept. But the way the government has opened the treasury of Bihar, it is clear that the Bihar assembly elections in the coming months have been kept in mind.
26 billion rupees for roads
Nirmala Sitharaman has announced that she will donate Rs 26,000 crore to Bihar for the construction of roads and highways. Announcing the budget, the Finance Minister said that it has been announced that she will cooperate in road connectivity projects. Under which the Patna-Purnia Expressway, Buxar-Bhagalpur Expressway and Bodhgaya-Rajgir-Vaishali-Darbhanga are included. Moreover, construction of an additional two-lane bridge over the Ganga River at Buxar has also been announced. Nirmala Sitharaman said that industrial development in the Amritsar-Kolkata and Gaya industrial corridor in Bihar will also be supported. Announcing the budget for Bihar, the Finance Minister said that this will give impetus to the development of the eastern region of the country.

The Finance Minister has made many other announcements for Bihar. Nirmala Sitharaman said that new airports will be built in Bihar. A medical college will also be established. At the same time she also announced the sports institutes. The Finance Minister has allocated Rs 26,000 crore for road projects in Bihar. The Finance Minister also said that the request for external assistance from multilateral banks by the Bihar government will also be expedited. The Bihar government was demanding this for a long time.
Bihar elections in focus
Although the central government has not given special status to Bihar in the budget, it has pleased its coalition leader with the announcement of Rs 26,000 crore and the rest. At the same time, the Bihar assembly elections are also behind this announcement. Which will happen early next year. Elections are also expected to be held in Bihar along with the assembly elections in Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Haryana.
