Delhi Dehradun Expressway
Soon the people of Delhi will get a big relief. The government is gearing up to open two sections of the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway in October. Currently, load test is being done on Delhi-Dehradun Expressway in which this highway has passed completely. During the test, officials and engineers did not find any fault in the expressway. More than 97 percent of both the sections from Akshardham to Khajuri Pushta and Thekda have been completed.
According to information, this expressway is being constructed between Khekra Mavikala village of Bagpat starting from Akshardham. Apart from this, this expressway will be connected with the Eastern Peripheral Expressway at Mavikla. This expressway will be 32 km long. Of this, 17 km in Delhi is elevated while the remaining 15 km is on the border of Ghaziabad and Baghpat.
The work is being divided into two sections
The expressway work is being divided into two sections. As the new expressway is slated to open by October, all kinds of tests are being done on it. Currently, heavy vehicles are tested by driving them on expressways, called load tests. The good and reassuring thing is that so far no glitches have come up during the load test. Delhi’s Yamunapur and Loni will get a lot of relief from the jam after the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway opens to the general public. People traveling from Delhi towards Baghpat, Loni, Saharanpur and Dehradun will be able to directly access the expressway via Akshardham, Vikas Marg, ISBT Kashmiri Gate Link Road and Signature Bridge, which will bring a lot of convenience to people.
This way you will get relief from traffic jam
If we talk now, it takes six to seven hours to go to Dehradun via Delhi-Saharanpur route, so people use Delhi-Meerut Expressway to go to Dehradun, but a new 210 km long expressway has been built. Along with saving time, the jam on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway will also be eliminated. At present efforts are being made to complete the expressway work at the earliest so that people can get relief from jams and travel can be made easier.
