In this matter, the Commissioner of Police has suspended Indirapuram SHO Jitendra Dixit and Kanwani Chowki in-charge Lal Singh Kanojia for their negligence. It has also been instructed to initiate a departmental inquiry against both of them.
The theft at the watch showroom worth crores took place between Saturday night and Sunday morning. The incident was carried out by a gang of 7 to 8 thieves. The thieves broke the shutter of the showroom and stole the watch worth crores of rupees kept there and escaped. This incident created a commotion. When the police investigated the matter, the preliminary investigation revealed that the Indirapuram police station in-charge and the outpost in-charge were negligent in this incident. After which the SHO of Indirapuram and the in-charge of the post were suspended.

Transhindon DCP Nimish Patil said that the police commissioner has taken action against the negligence and ordered the suspension of both. Police say that three police teams have been deployed to trace the thieves and all the thieves will be arrested soon.
