In Ghaziabad’s Mussoorie Police Station area, a youth first beat his wife and then pressed her face with a pillow, causing her death due to suffocation. Not only this, the husband buried the body declaring death due to illness, but the secret of this act of the husband was revealed by his 5-year-old son. The innocent child went to his maternal uncle’s house and told his grandparents and maternal uncle that his mother had been killed by his father. After this, the brother of the deceased woman filed a murder report against the accused husband at the Mussoorie police station. Also demanded that the dead body be taken out of the grave and post mortem done. The police have registered a case based on the complaint of the deceased woman’s brother and are taking further action.
The brother of deceased Rukhsar said that Rukhsar was his elder sister. Rukhsar was married eight years ago to Shahnawaz, a resident of Gondi Salai in Hapud district, according to Muslim customs. Initially both the husband and wife lived with each other very much, but after some time brother-in-law Shahnawaz got into a relationship with another woman. When sister Rukhsar came to know about this, she protested. When she protested, brother-in-law Shahnawaz beat her. Bhai said that when Rukhsar informed us about the attack on him, we filed a complaint against Shahnawaz at the police station and registered a case.
He strangled his wife after abusing her.
After the case was registered, Shahnawaz asked his in-laws to reconcile. In Bhari Panchayat, Shahnawaz apologized for the attack. He also brought Rukhsar with him to Ghaziabad. Here he started living in a rented room in Dasana’s Mughal Garden. However his actions were still the same as before. On the night of 20th August, the two once again fought and fought. Accused Shahnawaz then killed Rukhsar by pressing his mouth with a pillow.
Accused husband said that she died due to heart attack
After the murder, accused Shahnawaz called Rukhsar’s family and informed them that their daughter had died of a heart attack. After seeing Rukhsar’s body, the family believed it to be a natural death and buried him in Pilkhua’s graveyard. Shahnawaz and Rukhsar have a daughter and a son, aged 7 years and 5 years. Both the children were brought by their parents to Pilkhua in Hapud.
5 year old son said what his father did
Last Wednesday, the 5-year-old son told his maternal uncle’s family that his father Shahnawaz had beaten his mother and strangled her to death with a pillow at night. After the information received from the children, when the family questioned Rukhsar’s husband Shahnawaz, he confessed to the murder, after which the girl’s family caught the accused husband Shahnawaz and handed him over to the police and also registered a case against him.
