An attempt was made to grab an old man’s land in Uttar Pradesh’s Gazipur district by offering him a pension. Fraudsters lured the 70-year-old with the promise of old-age pension and took documents from him. Took documents in the name of pension and registered his farm in his name. The accused did not give even a penny to the old man in return. As soon as the family got the information, they filed a complaint with the police. The police assured an investigation and sent the victims home.
This entire case belongs to 70-year-old Dinanath, son of late Bhopal, resident of Gauspur Buzarg village in Sadar Kotwali area. Who has two sons out of which one is working in a private company in Gujarat. Another lives and works in the village. This old man was not getting old age pension as per government rules. Then Rambharose, Sunil Kumar Yadav, Irshad Ahmed and others, the residents of the village talked about getting old age pension. After this Dinanath also got ready to take his pension. On August 22, all these people took Dinanath to Jakhania tehsil to collect pension from them.
The registry is done after serving the liquor
The accused made Dinanath sit at the tea shop and left saying he wanted to make paper. In the meantime, an accused resident of his village chased him away and made him drink alcohol. After this, after being intoxicated, all these people got Dinanath’s thumb impressions on many documents and also took him to the tehsil and clicked his photographs. When Dinanath asked why all this was happening, they said, don’t worry, your old age pension is all working.
The elderly woman died of shock
After this Dinanath came to his house and on August 28 his wife got information in the village that her land had been registered. After this he asked Dinanath and there was a fight between them. Dinanath’s wife protested and alleged that you have got the land registered by luring my husband. The opposition said you can do whatever you want, we have registered. After which she suffered a heart attack and fell unconscious on the spot and was dead by the time some people picked her up and brought her home.
The police did not take any action
When Dinanath’s family members reached the tehsil and collected the registry papers, they came to know that their land had been deeded. Accused in this case Rs. A check of 5 lakhs was also promised but old Dinanath did not receive any check. When the victim complained about this to the police, they demanded an investigation. But no action was taken. The victim also sent a complaint letter to the Superintendent of Police through post on September 2. After this he took the help of the court. Following the CJM court’s order, a case was registered under sections 420, 120B and 306 against Rambharos, Sunil Kumar Yadav, Irshad Ahmed and another unidentified person.
