Tomorrow is the last date for registration for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. In such a situation the candidates who have not yet applied to appear in the examination. They can apply by visiting the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in till October 3. Earlier the last date for registration was 26th September, which was extended to 3rd October. GATE 2025 exam will be conducted by IIT Roorkee.
The GATE exam will be conducted for a total of 30 test papers. Out of which one paper will have compulsory subject and the other paper will have departmental paper. Registration fee for all other candidates including foreign candidates is Rs 1800. While the application fee for women, SC, ST and disabled categories has been fixed at Rs 900.
How to Apply for GATE 2025 Registration
- Visit the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in
- Click on the registration link given on the home page.
- Now register by entering phone number, name and email id.
- Upload the documents and submit after paying the fee.
Candidates should note that while applying, they have to upload photograph, documents, signature, valid photo ID like Aadhaar card and scanned copy of category certificate. Registration without these documents will not be valid. Candidates can register till 7th October with late fee. For more information, you can check the notification issued by IIT Roorkee.
GATE 2025 Exam Date: When will the exam be held?
The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on 1, 2, 15 and 16 February 2025. Admit card can be issued in January 2025. The hall ticket will be released on the official website of the gate, from where candidates can download it using their registration number and date of birth. Along with the admit card, one has to carry an official photo identity card such as Aadhaar card, PAN card or voter ID at the examination center.
