The last date of Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) 2025 registration has been extended. Now students can apply till October 3 to appear for the exam without late fee. Earlier the last date to apply was September 26. One has to go to the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in and apply in online mode. Candidates can fill the exam form with late fee till 7th October. Let’s know on which date GATE 2025 admit card will be released.
GATE 2025 exam will be conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Persons with Disabilities have to deposit an application fee of Rs 900.
While the registration fee for all others including foreign nationals is Rs 1800. As late fee, General and OBC category Rs. 2300 and SC/ST/PWD applicants as registration fee Rs. 1,400 has to be paid.

- Visit the official website of GATE 2025 gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
- Click on the registration tab given on the home page.
- Register by entering phone number, name and mail id.
- Now fill the form and upload the documents.
- Pay the application fee and submit.

GATE 2025 Admit Card: When will the admit card be released?
The admit card for GATE 2025 exam will be released by IIT Roorkee on January 2, 2025. Candidates can download hall ticket using registration number and date of birth.
GATE 2025 Exam Pattern: Exam Pattern
As per the released official schedule, the GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on 1, 2, 15 and 16 February 2025. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The exam will be conducted in the first shift from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and in the second shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The examination will be conducted as per the guidelines issued. The result can be declared on 19 March 2025.
