Uttar Pradesh’s Ghazipur MP and Samajwadi Party leader Afzal Ansari has raised the demand for the legalization of ganja. Afzal Ansari on Thursday said about ganja, it should be legalized by giving it the status of law.
SP MP Afzal Ansari said, why are you making such a big joke of the law, lakhs and crores of people are smoking ganja openly. He said that ganja is openly smoked in religious events. In religious events, ganja is consumed as an offering and medicine to God. Afzal Ansari raised the question and said, why is it illegal when there is prasad and vegetables of God.
Demand to legalize marijuana
Afzal Ansari said, we say why are you secretly smoking ganja. Raising the question, he said that Lord Shankar’s prasad bhang will be licensed but ganja will not be licensed. If a law is made, respect it or give concessions. Advocating for the legalization of ganja, he said, “People say that consuming it increases appetite and also improves health, so we demand that it be given the status of law.” Afzal Ansari said, send a wagon full of ganja to Kumbh, he will eat it.
Attack on CM Yogi
Ghazipur MP Afzal Ansari raised his voice on Uttar Pradesh government’s excise policy and said that despite the ban on liquor in Bihar, the excise department has given licenses to many liquor shops in the border areas of Bihar, in such a situation the first step should be taken. Steps should be taken to solve this problem by revoking the licenses of the shops which have opened in the border areas of Bihar.
Attacking the Yogi government of UP, Afzal Ansari said, “Your baba tell the Chief Minister to close new liquor shops.” On one hand, Afzal Ansari is talking about legalizing ganja. On the other hand, he opposed liquor and said that in which religion it is written that liquor shops should be expanded.
