A robbery took place at the ancient Hanuman hill temple in Madhya Pradesh. The police remand of the accused has been obtained in this case. The accused told the police that their gang’s targets were mostly Hanuman temples. They have committed thefts not only in the hill temple but in many places including the Chimchima Hanuman temple in Sheopur. The name of this gang is Kalbelia.
Two dozen red books have also been recovered from the gang leader Babulal Kalbelia. The accounts of major transactions are recorded in this red book. Several mobile numbers are also written in the books and the police have started investigation. When the police remanded the miscreants, many revelations came out. Kalbelia gang criminals are so bad that till date they have not been caught in a single case.
On the midnight of 24th August, the robbery incident was carried out at the Hanuman hill temple. In which 8 members of the Kalbelia gang, including a jeweler from Rajasthan, were identified as accused. Three accused have been arrested. Gwalior Range IG Arvind Saxena also announced a reward of 30 thousand rupees in this very high profile case. Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Singha formed the SIT. The SIT team toiled for 20 days and busted the Hanuman hill temple robbery.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Crime Sanjeev Singha said – The miscreants adopted unique methods of theft. A few things were revealed in the CCTV footage, which proved useful in the investigation. More than 12 red books have been recovered from crooks in which large-scale transactions have come to light. Further proceedings are going on in this case.
