A case of barbarism has come to light from Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh. Here a disabled youth was bitten by a pitbull dog after being locked in a room. Meanwhile, the disabled person kept screaming in pain. The accused, standing outside the room, kept smiling at her condition. When the victim’s family members arrived, he was extricated. He was seriously injured by a dog bite.
The disabled victim was first taken to a local hospital. Considering his critical condition, he has been referred to Delhi’s Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital. The victim’s family has lodged a complaint with the police and filed a case. After the incident, all the accused have absconded. One accused has been arrested, a police team has been formed to nab the rest.
Locked in a room with a pet dog
The brutal incident took place on Wednesday morning. A disabled person came to Ganesh Pandal in Baghpat. Then accused Satish, Anuj and another friend reached there and called Anil and took them with them. The victim’s family members said that the accused had locked Anil in a room. He also left his pet pitbull dog in the room with Anil. The dog scratched Anil badly. It was cut in several places. It is alleged that Anil kept screaming in pain after being bitten by the dog. At the same time the accused laughed loudly seeing him.
Referred to Delhi in critical condition
On hearing the sound, the surrounding people reached there and the accused fled from there. Anil’s family was informed. He took the injured Anil out of the room. He was badly injured. He was taken to hospital for treatment. Considering his critical condition, he was referred to Delhi. The victim’s family has submitted a complaint letter to the police and demanded strict action against the accused. A police officer said that a case has been registered against the accused at Khekra police station. Police have arrested one accused Satish.
