Lord Ganesha, the destroyer of destroyers, is highly praised throughout the country. Ganesh festival started on Saturday with Ganesh Chaturthi. Handsome ‘Bappas’ are starting to appear in attractive pandals. Ganesha is going to arrive for the first time in that village which is called the village of elephants. People who worship ‘Bappa’ here are people from Muslim community. Ganesh festival will be celebrated for three days in the village. Here the worship of Lord Ganesha is to be special. Because every day about 15-20 elephants will also participate in the puja.
Hathi village is located near Jaipur in Rajasthan. It is also called Kunda Hathi Village. It is situated on the National Highway near Amer Fort. Most of the Muslim families live in the village. Most of them are Mahut. Around 60 Muslim families from the village and surrounding areas gathered and installed a Ganesha idol in Hathi village. Ganesh festival will be celebrated for the first time in the village for three days. On the final day, the program will conclude with idol immersion in the village pond.
Ganesha Festival in Elephant Village
The Chairman of Hathi Gram Vikas Samiti belongs to the Muslim community. He says that the elephant is a symbol of Lord Ganesha and he is providing livelihood to our three generations by being a means of employment. He says that this time we have decided to celebrate Ganesh festival in the village. With this we want to convey a message of mutual brotherhood to all communities. Special preparations have been made for Ganesh festival in the village. An attractive pandal has been created. A magnificent idol of Lord Ganesha has been brought. There is special enthusiasm in the village for Ganesh festival.
The country’s first elephant village
Kunda Elephant Village is the first elephant village in the country and the third elephant village in the world. This village is surrounded by elephants. This 100 acre village is inhabited only for elephants. In the year 2008, it was declared an elephant village. The village is inhabited by more people from the Mahavat community of the Muslim community. There are about 200 elephants in the village. To identify the elephants, microchips are placed in their ears. From which the registration number is fed.
