In this way the Shinde government of Maharashtra was surrounded in Badlapur.

First the incident of sexual exploitation of minor girls and now the encounter with the accused youth… In 40 days the Eknath Shinde government has become disgraced in Badlapur, Thane. Accused Akshay Shinde is the main cause of the scam in both the cases.

40 days ago when the case of sexual exploitation came to light in Badlapur, the opposition surrounded the Eknath Shinde government by making the surname of the accused an issue. Now after 40 days when Akshay’s encounter has taken place, the opposition is alleging that the Shinde government has killed Akshay to save the prime accused.

First, the Shinde government was surrounded by the issue of sexual exploitation

While the Kolkata rape case was the talk of the country, at the same time the incident in Maharashtra’s Badlapur put the Eknath Shinde-led NDA government on the backfoot. The opposition made a big fuss about this. One of the reasons for the opposition’s voice was the surname of the accused arrested in the case.

When the Women’s Commission presented its report, the government’s difficulties increased. The Women’s Commission said that the college and the local administration are very careless in this matter. According to the report, despite several complaints, the college administration did not take action.

After this, the government hastily suspended Thane District Education Officer Balasaheb Rakshe.

The government was criticized for filing the FIR

The Shinde government and its police were also criticized for filing an FIR in the Badlapur incident. On August 16, when the relatives of the innocent rape victim went to the police station to lodge an FIR, the police delayed saying they would investigate.

Enraged by this, the local people started protesting. People gathered on railway tracks and protested against the government. Railway services were disrupted for about 10 hours due to public protests.

Now the encounter has increased the difficulties of the government

Akshay Shinde’s encounter took place about 40 days after the incident. On Monday (September 23), Akshay grabbed a policeman’s gun while being taken to Taloja Jail. According to the police, after this the accused opened fire on the police, following which Akshay was killed in the retaliatory attack.

Questions are being raised on Akshay’s encounter. The first question is raised by Akshay’s mother. Talking to TV-9 Marathi, Akshay’s mother said that Akshay cannot even lift a gun. He was deliberately killed by the police.

NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar has said that the policy of encounter is wrong. It will not reduce crimes. The Shinde government is on the back foot regarding this encounter for two reasons.

1. According to the police, the policeman was shot in the thigh in the firing by Akshay. It is being said why would the accused shoot the policeman in his thigh? The opposition is also raising the same question.

2. Shiv Sena (Thackeray) MP Sanjay Raut says that the Shinde government has shot Akshay to save the big cock. Prakash Ambedkar of Bahujan Vikas Aghadi is also expressing the same doubt.

Are there any damage control exercises?

After Akshay Shinde’s encounter, the government is on the front foot. Deputy CM Ajit Pawar has said that earlier people were demanding execution and now they are questioning the encounter. While Shiv Sena (Shinde) and MNS workers are praising him.

This encounter is also being called UP model. This may give relief to the government on the issue of law and order before the elections. Assembly elections are proposed in Maharashtra 1 month from now.
