West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose has now hit out at the economic condition of the state after announcing to file a defamation case against CM Mamata. The governor has said that the economic condition of the state has completely collapsed. He summoned CM Mamata Banerjee’s emergency cabinet and demanded the release of a white paper.

The Governor held a meeting with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Delhi on Saturday. The Governor then wrote on his X handle, ‘There is a state of financial collapse in West Bengal. Governor Bose called an emergency meeting of the state cabinet and demanded the release of the white paper. After meeting Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, this message of the Governor is being considered very important.

According to Raj Bhavan sources, Governor CV Anand Bose made several suggestions in a meeting with the Union Finance Minister in Delhi. Bose proposed monitoring the implementation of projects in the states, especially the central government, at regular intervals.

The Governor tweeted that issues of national importance were discussed with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in New Delhi. He emphasized the need to implement economic development programs that generate income for the fisheries sector. A detailed action plan for fisheries development was submitted to Sitharaman for proper action and inclusion in the budget.

The statement said that this report was originally written by Dr. Prepared by Bose as a one-man commission on labor of the Labor Advisory Board of the Government of India. The two also discussed in detail the emerging role of the Governor in the federal system. The governor proposed to periodically monitor the implementation of development projects in the state, especially those projects which come under centrally sponsored schemes.

Demanded to release the white paper

The statement said that the Governor is also expected to exercise the role of overseeing the finances and other aspects of the state administration as per Article 167 of the Constitution of India. Dr. Bose outlined the proposed steps to be taken in the State Development Administration.

He proposed to send a critical analysis of the financial management of the state to the Chief Minister. Also directed to put it before the Council of Ministers. Dr. Bose also demanded a white paper on the state’s finances from the West Bengal government.

Earlier, the BJP camp has raised several grievances regarding the implementation of various central projects in Bengal. Earlier, a central delegation was also sent from Delhi to check the progress of various projects in the state. The state government and the ruling camp of the state have criticized him several times. Amidst all this, Governor CV Anand Bose has hit out at the Mamata government over the financial condition of the state.
