Bottles stolen from MLA Vinay Verma’s house in Lucknow
The water taps of Apna Dal (S) MLA Vinay Verma’s house in Baltar Palace Colony of capital Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh have become dirty. The incident took place at the official residence of Vinay Verma, MLA of Siddharthnagar assembly seat. Renovation work was going on in his house at the time of the incident. Meanwhile, thieves broke into his house and broke all the water taps in the bathroom and kitchen. In this regard, the MLA has registered a case against the unknown thieves in the police. Now the police have started searching for the thieves.
Earlier, there have been incidents of theft in government residences of many MLAs, including veteran SP leader Azam Khan. Poultry and buffaloes have also been stolen from some places. However, the incident of theft has come to light for the first time. According to the police, government accommodation has been constructed at Butler Palace to house MLAs in the capital. One of these houses has been allotted to Apna Dal MLA Vinay Verma, MLA from Siddharth Nagar. Nowadays renovation work is going on in this residence.
A report of a burglary at a residence on August 31st
The MLA has stated in his report written in Hazratganj police station that currently work is being done in the house by the State Property Department. That is why he cannot stay in Lucknow with his family. He said that on August 31, he sent his colleague Anurag Mishra to clean the house. After coming here, he said that the thieves had broken all the taps and other plumbing items from the house. On getting this information, he himself reached home and informed the police after seeing the situation.

According to Inspector Hazratganj Vikram Singh, a case has been registered on the complaint of the MLA and investigation has been started. Efforts are being made to identify the thieves with the help of CCTV cameras installed around the house. Let us tell you that MLA Vinay Verma contested the 2022 assembly elections on Apna Dal (Sonelal) ticket and he defeated Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party candidate Prem Chandra by a margin of 24,463 votes.
