Shares of Tata Consultancy Services, one of the favourite companies of the country’s largest industrialist Ratan Tata, are falling on Wednesday. What is special is that on Monday, September 2, the company’s shares reached a 52-week high. After that, i.e. over the last two days, a decline is observed. On Wednesday, the company’s shares fell by more than 3 percent from their 52-week high. Due to this decline, the market capitalization of Tata Consultancy Services has suffered a loss of more than Rs 53,000 crore. If we talk about Wednesday, during the trading session the shares of TCS fell by 1.63 per cent to the day’s low of Rs 4,438.35. However, the shares of TCS opened with a drop of Rs 4,479 at 9.15 am. While a day earlier the shares of the company had closed at Rs 4,512.20. On September 3 as well, a lot of ups and downs were seen in the shares of TCS. Even after that, the company managed to maintain its position in the range of Rs 4,500.

Shares fell 3 percent from a record high

What is special is that Tata Consultancy Services shares have fallen by more than 3 percent from their all-time high. This means that the company’s shares have fallen significantly in two days. If we look at the data, the company’s shares on BSE hit a record high of Rs 4,585.90 on September 2. While on Wednesday the company’s shares reached Rs 4,438.35. This means that in two days the company’s shares fell by Rs 147.55 i.e. 3.22 percent.

What is special is that in the last two days the company’s shares have fallen below the all-time high, since then the company’s market capitalization has suffered a loss of more than Rs 53,000 crore. When the company’s shares hit a 52-week high, the company’s market capitalization was Rs 16,59,218.75 crore. When the company’s shares hit the lowest level of the day on Wednesday, the company’s market capitalization reached Rs 16,05,833.87 crore. This means that there has been a loss of Rs 53,384.88 crore in the company’s market capitalization.
