NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal and NCP chief Sharad Chand Pawar Sharad Pawar
Politics has heated up in Maharashtra over the visit of Ajit Pawar group leaders Chhagan Bhujbal and Sharad Pawar. A day earlier, Bhujbal, who had indirectly targeted Sharad Pawar in Baramati, accused him of setting political fire in Maharashtra. The next day, Bhujbal went to meet Sharad Pawar and appealed to him to take initiative on the Maratha-OBC dispute. Now in two days these roles of physical force are being questioned.
Different political meanings are being drawn from the meeting between Bhujbal and Pawar. Questions are being raised that why Bhujbal, who was going to meet Sharad Pawar, did not tell this to his party leader Ajit Pawar? Why didn’t Bhujbal tell anyone except Praful Patel that he was going to meet Pawar? Apart from this, the statement that the situation between the two communities in the state is bad even though we have become Ministers and Chief Ministers through muscle power, is also being interpreted differently. Some are taking it as a gesture aimed at Ajit Pawar using physical force.
The meeting between the two lasted for about one and a half hours
According to information, Chhagan Bhujbal reached Sharad Pawar’s residence Silver Oak at 10:21 am. Where, the meeting between the two leaders lasted for about one and a half hours. This was the first time after the split in the NCP that Sharad Pawar and Bhujbal met separately. Opponents say the government is embroiled in a dispute between the two for the sake of Maratha-OBC votes in the Lok Sabha elections.
Bhujbal said what happened in the meeting with Pawar?
After the meeting, Chhagan Bhujbal said that I did not take time to meet Sharad Pawar, though I went to meet him. Talks have been held with them on the issue of reservation. He is the senior leader of the state, law and order should be peaceful regarding reservation. This was discussed. They have agreed to discuss Maratha reservation and OBC reservation. This has nothing to do with politics. This is a social question, let’s discuss it. I have no need for ministership or assembly. I want peace in the state.
