If you’re thinking that you’ll get relief after this, it might not. The new update of IMD may surprise you. According to which, this time the rain is causing great devastation. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain at many places and heavy rain at some places for the next 5 days.

The South-West Monsoon is advancing and has made its effective presence felt in most of the states of the country. Monsoon has advanced over some more parts of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this, monsoon has also arrived in some parts of south-east Rajasthan and southern parts of western Uttar Pradesh. It is raining heavily in many places in the country.

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rains over the west coast and northeast India during the next 4-5 days. It has also been said that the conditions are likely to be favorable for the advance of Southwest Monsoon over the rest of West, Central and East India and some parts of North-West India during the next 3-4 days.

Light to moderate rain and thundershowers are likely over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during the next 5 days.
