Mother reaches hospital with injured daughter in Punjab
A shocking incident has come to light in Fazilka, Punjab. Here, a young man who got angry on seeing his daughter’s mobile has broken his daughter’s hand. After this, the accused himself reached the hospital with his daughter. where he is undergoing treatment. The accused has been identified as Surendra, a resident of Dhani Kamayanwali, Fazilka. In the statement given to the police, Surendra’s wife Khushbi said that her husband supports the family by doing labour.
On Tuesday evening, when he returned home from labor work, his two daughters were arguing over mobile phones. Surendra waited for some time for them to calm down, but when the quarrel between the daughters did not stop, he started beating the elder daughter Aarti (10). Meanwhile, the accused picked her up and threw her on the ground. In this incident, the daughter suffered serious injuries on her mouth and other parts of her body. The hand in which he was holding the mobile was also broken.

According to Khushbu, both the daughters were being persuaded a lot to stay away from the mobiles, but they could not avoid looking at the mobiles. In fact, these two daughters did not feel like studying because of mobile phones. Due to which Surendra used to abuse him everyday. In the same sequence on Tuesday also he got angry and beat her badly. According to Fazilka police, no complaint has been received in this regard yet, but there is a case of assault on a child. Hence the police is investigating the matter at its level. According to the police, apart from the victim girl, statements of the accused’s father and her mother have also been recorded.
