A bank manager and a cashier died tragically in Haryana’s Faridabad after their vehicle plunged into a water-logged railway underpass. The underpass was flooded with rain water and was very deep. When the police found the vehicle stuck in the water, it was pulled out. A sensation was created when the bodies of two people were found inside the vehicle. Both the bodies have been identified and sent for post-mortem. After the incident, the family members of the deceased are in turmoil.

Delhi NCR has been receiving heavy rains for the past several days. Due to the rains, many districts of Delhi-NCR have experienced waterlogging. Among these, the old Faridabad railway pass in Haryana’s Faridabad district was filled with rainwater. An XUV-700 vehicle got stuck here on Friday night. There were two people in it. The car got stuck in the water. He tried a lot to open the car but could not succeed. Both the people in the car were injured due to water filling in the car.

The car stuck in the water was pulled out by the JCB

In the morning, the police found the vehicle stuck in water under the railway underpass and pulled it out with the help of JCB. When I looked inside the car, two people were found dead. Police identified both the deceased. One of them was HDFC branch bank manager Punyashree Sharma in Sector 31 of Gurugram and the other was bank cashier Viraj. When his family came to know, there was an atmosphere of mourning in the house.

The underpass was flooded with rainwater

An employee of the bank said that after the bank holiday, the manager and the cashier left together in the XUV 700 vehicle. Sharma, a bank manager, lived in Omax City, Greater Faridabad. He was going home in his car when he met with an accident. At the same time, bank cashier Viraj was also riding in the car with him. The police have sent both the bodies for post-mortem. Police said the incident took place around 11.30 pm. Even though the bridge had police barricades and caution boards, he drove into the underpass with his vehicle. A case has been registered and investigation is underway.
