Brutal killing of youth in Barabanki
A heart-wrenching case has come to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Barabanki district, where a 35-year-old man was abducted and brutally murdered due to an old enmity over a land dispute. The killer gouged out the youth’s eyes and cut off his private parts, then tied his hands and feet and threw him into a lake outside the village. After receiving information from the family, the police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it to the district headquarters for postmortem. Based on the family’s complaint, the police have registered a case and arrested three accused and the police are looking for the unknown accused.
This entire case is from Gyan Kheda village of Hydergarh in Barabanki district. The body of Govinda, a resident of the same village, was recovered from the pond of Shivgarh police station in Rae Bareli district. The deceased’s father has accused three people from the same village and an unknown person of abducting Govind and killing him. The father alleges that the villagers have abducted his sons, brutally beat them and killed them. After which the accused tied the hands and feet of the youth and threw him into the lake, due to which he died.
Search for unknown accused
Based on the complaint of the father of the deceased youth Govinda, the Hyderabad police have registered a case against three names and an unknown person of Gyan Kheda village and arrested three people. The police have interrogated the arrested accused and started searching for the unknown persons. The case is said to stem from an old enmity over a land dispute, which led the killer to commit this brutal atrocity.
Barabanki Additional Superintendent of Police Akhilesh Narayan Singh has said regarding this whole matter that based on the complaint of the family members, the police have arrested the three accused and they are being interrogated. Police are looking for a fourth unidentified person. The whole matter is said to stem from an old enmity. Currently, the police is investigating the matter.
