Riteish Deshmukh is going to make his OTT debut with the web series ‘Pill’. This series is going to release on Jio Cinema. ‘Peel’ is a medical crime drama. In this series, Riteish Deshmukh will be seen in the role of Prakash Chauhan, a deputy medicine controller of a pharma company. Riteish Deshmukh, who usually makes the audience laugh with his films, will be seen in a serious role in this series. In an exclusive conversation with TV9 Hindi Digital, Riteish revealed what kind of characters he doesn’t want to play.

Riteish Deshmukh said, “I try to stay away from roles where I have to abuse. Not that there will ever be a character in the future who would be justified in using such language, but I wouldn’t. Maybe I should think about it, but so far I have avoided doing such characters and I will try not to do such characters in the future. As far as which films to do, I have not set any criteria. My thoughts about movies change with time.

Ritesh continued, “Like, I haven’t done any abusive character till date, because I didn’t feel that I needed to be abusive for the characters that were offered to me. But this idea may change in future. Right now I want to do films whose story touches my heart and after listening I feel wow, I enjoyed it. Then I say yes to doing that film.” Talking about her upcoming films Ritesh He said that I have been away from comedy films for the last 4 years. But it was not a conscious decision. However, I will make up for it next year. Preparations for the three films Housefull, Dhamaal and Masti have started.
