‘Bigg Boss’ started 18 years ago on Sony TV. This is the Hindi version of the American reality show ‘Big Brother’. And so far 26 seasons of this original show have been completed. Shilpa Shetty won the trophy of ‘Big Brother’ season 7. And since then Indian viewers also started taking interest in the Hindi version of the show. So far 17 seasons of this show have been on air in Hindi. After the success of ‘Bigg Boss’ on TV, the makers launched ‘Bigg Boss OTT’. Every year famous set designer Omung Kumar creates magnificent sets for this show. Recently, in an exclusive conversation with TV9 Hindi Digital, Omung Kumar said that Bigg Boss India has surpassed even ‘Big Brother’ in terms of set design.
Omung Kumar said, “We are always thinking about what new things we will do next year. Because we love to take challenges. Our effort is to do something that people have not seen till date. Compared to us, ‘Big Brother’ and all the shows inspired by it around the world don’t have to work so hard for their sets. Recently, the show’s creative team had a meeting in Amsterdam. Whenever we tell others about our set or our ideas they ask if we are crazy? What are we going to do? But we are like that. We can’t sleep without doing something different.”

Omung Kumar continued, “Not only us, now our audience’s taste has also changed. They are always curious to know how the next set of Bigg Boss will be. How will it be made? We don’t want to disappoint them either. Bigg Boss has 18 contestants not 16 or 17. And on the 8th is the set of Bigg Boss. Because there is a lot of talk about this set as well.
