The specialty of this temple is that it predicts monsoons in advance. That is, it predicts how much rain will fall this year. That too in a completely unique way.

Apart from Thakur Ji Baba, this temple is also called Monsoon temple. A few days before the arrival of rain or monsoon, drops of water start dripping from the roof of the sanctum sanctorum of this temple. When it rains, the water in the temple stops dripping.

Temple priest Kul Prasad Shukla says that the drops start falling in the first fortnight of June. At present, drops are falling in good quantity from the stone on the dome. According to him, there were more drops till four-five days ago. He was told that rain falls as soon as the drops dry on the stone. This year the drops have not yet dried up. It is definitely declining slowly. Due to which the arrival of monsoon is likely to be slightly delayed. Judging by the size of the drops, a good monsoon is being predicted this year. Scientists are also surprised to know this secret of the temple.
