According to army officials, 3 to 4 terrorists are suspected to be hiding. A large-scale search operation is being conducted keeping this in mind. The situation remains tense. Security forces are searching for terrorists in this area. Attacks are being carried out continuously by terrorists. Due to which the terrorists are targeting the security forces and civilians there.
In which two jawans were martyred
Two jawans were martyred while a local civilian was killed in an overnight encounter at Kokarnag in Anantnag district on Saturday. Havildar Deepak Kumar Yadav and Lance Naik Praveen Sharma were among those killed in the firing by the terrorists. Apart from this, two civilians have also been injured in the firing. One of the injured civilians, Abdul Rasheed Dar, died in hospital on Sunday.
