Clash between terrorists and security forces has started once again in Poonch of Jammu and Kashmir. An officer himself has given this information. The encounter began when the security forces received information about the presence of militants and launched a cordon and search operation. An official said a search operation was launched by police and army in Pathanatir area near Gursai Top in Mendhar sub-division on Saturday evening after receiving intelligence.
He said the militants secretly fired at the search operation team, after which the two clashed and firing started. The officer said that firing was taking place between the two sides from time to time. In such a situation, more forces have been sent to the area. These incidents have increased somewhat at a time when two jawans were martyred and two terrorists were killed recently.
