A shootout between two parties over egg curry

A case of firing over egg curry has come to light in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh. A fight started between the two parties due to the hotel waiter placing egg curry on the wrong table and later the matter escalated to the point of firing. After firing, the accused tried to run away, but after the police encounter, all the accused who fired were arrested by the police.

The case pertains to a hotel built on the National Highway in Fateganj West Police Station area. There was a fight between two parties over eating egg curry in the hotel. The dispute between the two sides had earlier resulted in fights. After which the matter reached to firing. A young man named Saurabh came to a hotel for dinner with his friend. Six people were already sitting in the hotel. Saurabh reached the hotel and ordered egg curry. The hotel waiter gave the egg curry to the people already seated and left. A quarrel started between the two parties on this matter. The quarrel escalated to such an extent that the six people who were already sitting there started firing pistols at Saurabh and his friend.

Trying to run away from the police

When Saurabh informed the police about the incident, the youths who fired were fleeing from the Scorpio. As soon as the information was received, the police made full preparations to arrest the accused along with additional personnel. The police tried to stop the miscreants by blocking the road with trucks, but the miscreants tried to run over the policemen and started firing at the police as well. The police started chasing the miscreants. When the accused found the railway gate closed, they tried to pass the train from the other side.

Police retaliated

However, the police surrounded the miscreants from all sides, after which the miscreants started firing at the police. The police retaliated and started firing at the miscreants. A criminal was shot in the leg in police firing. The police admitted the injured criminal to Fateganj West Health Centre, where the criminal is undergoing treatment. The police arrested the accused Raunak, Deepak Gangwar and Vinay Gangwar from the spot. Ajay Gangwar fled from the spot.

The police have seized a pistol and a car from the accused. After the incident, the police registered a case on Deepak’s complaint. Regarding the incident, Dhananjay Kumar Pandey, in-charge of Fatehganj West Police Station, said that all the six miscreants have been arrested. A case has been registered against all of them under serious sections and one of the accused is undergoing treatment.
