The number of passengers traveling in Delhi metro is in lakhs. With this initiative of Delhi Police, strict action will be taken against the criminals.

For this, a total of 32 metro stations like Delhi’s busiest metro stations like Rajiv Chowk, Kashmiri Gate, Anand Vihar, University have been kept in its list, where cover police officers will be deployed and identify criminals with their sharp eyes. After this step, the safety of passengers will increase.

Data were extracted from 190 stations

Delhi Police checked data from 190 stations for metro security review. Through this data, the police identified metro stations in Delhi where the number of crime incidents is high. In such a situation, the police selected 32 metro stations for deployment of undercover officers. These special patrolling police teams are supervised by DCP rank officers.
