After registering the case, Jaipur police first searched for Head Constable Tanuj in Police Lines Aligarh, but the accused was also absent from his duty. Later, the UP government also suspended Tanuj. The police did not give up and continued to search for the innocent man in several states. When nothing was found anywhere, the police put a reward of Rs 25,000 on the accused. After this the Jaipur police got information that the accused Tanuj had grown his beard and was living in a hut somewhere in the Khadar area of ​​Mathura-Vrindavan wearing the clothes of a saint, posing as Krishna and posing as a saint himself. Even the policemen disguised as sadhus reached the hut of this ‘sadhu’ singing bhajans and kirtans. But somehow when the accused came to know about the police, he took the child in his lap and ran towards the farm, but finally the efforts of the police were successful and the accused ‘miscreant’ was caught. The police caught the accused and took him to the police station.
He quit his job and became a beggar
On reaching the police station, the accused was kept in a separate room and called to hand over the child to his parents. Parents also came running. The time has come to hand over the child to the parents. When the police reached the room to retrieve little Prithvi, they found the child clinging to her abductor. The police were also surprised to see this. Tried to take him in my lap, but the child is not ready to go to anyone else. It was then that the police realized that the case was something else. Well, he somehow handed over the child to the parents and started investigating the matter. When the accused was interrogated the story changed… the accused kidnapper said that he is Prithvi’s real father… He said that if the police want to do DNA they can do it, but he is her real father. The child’s mother is the daughter of accused Tanuj’s aunt, whom he loves very much. The accused said that both loved each other very much but the family did not like the relationship and a khap panchayat was held after which the girl was secretly married to someone else. Despite breaking up with Prem, Tanuj quits his police job and becomes a beggar to get a girlfriend.
Stumbled, fell asleep on the sidewalk
Tanuj kept looking for a girlfriend…he got married in Jaipur. Tanuj dropped everything and started searching the streets to find her. He spent nights on the pavement for a year and earned his living by doing manual labour. Eventually he got his girlfriend’s home address and started seeing her again. Gradually he developed a relationship with his girlfriend’s husband and then started coming to her house. Even the girlfriend did not think it was right to lie to her husband and told him everything. The two started dating, during which the woman became pregnant and gave birth to Prithvi, but then suddenly broke off her relationship with Tanuj. Tanuj wanted to meet the child but turned criminal when he saw no other way. Eventually he kidnapped the child along with some of his accomplices.
Will Tanuj leave the earth so easily?
On June 14, 2023, he forcibly took his girlfriend’s 11-month-old child from her home and kidnapped her. Now when the police found the child, he was more than two years old. What does the law say about DNA testing?
DNA testing has been demanded in the case, meaning DNA samples of Tanuj, Prithvi and Prithvi’s other fathers will be tested. Under Indian law, a court order is required for DNA testing. This order is given under Section 20 of the Family Law Reform Act, 1969. After the court order, the person has to select a lab from the list recognized by the Ministry. To prove someone’s claim to be the father of a child, a DNA match must be 99.9 percent. If the child is a minor, one of the alleged parents must sign the consent for testing. If the child is an adult, he must also give his consent. Every child’s DNA comes from its parents, but the DNA of a child and its parents are not identical, but some parts may be the same.
