Mamata met Sunita Kejriwal.

Bharat Gatbandhan has decided to boycott the Niti Aayog meeting to be held on Saturday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but despite the announcement of boycott by Bharat Gatbandhan, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will attend the Niti Aayog meeting. Mamata Banerjee reached Delhi from Kolkata on Friday. He met party MPs in Delhi and then reached Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s residence and met his wife Sunita Kejriwal.

Although almost all the chief ministers of the opposition alliance boycotted it, Mamata Banerjee decided to attend the meeting. He said that Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren may also attend the NITI Aayog meeting. About which a vigorous discussion has started in national politics.

After Mamata Banerjee attended the Niti Aayog meeting, questions are being asked whether there are ideological differences between the Bharat Alliance? On Friday, at New Banga Bhavan in Delhi’s Chanakyapuri, Mamata said, “I decided to attend the Niti Aayog meeting before the budget presentation. But if the decision was taken after everyone’s discussion, I would have thought of something else.

Mamata will protest in NITI Aayog meeting

Mamata Banerjee said NITI Aayog should be abolished and Planning Commission should be brought back. He said that I felt it was my duty to raise my voice on a common platform, though I know NITI Aayog has no financial strength. On her way from Kolkata to Delhi, Mamata Banerjee explained her reason for attending the NITI Aayog meeting.

Mamata complains that the central government is behaving in a biased manner. Bengal is being deprived and a conspiracy is being hatched for the partition of Bengal. BJP MPs are constantly giving statements about this. Against this, he will attend the Niti Aayog meeting. “I will be in the meeting for some time,” said Mamata. I will keep my word. If I am not allowed to speak, I will protest.

CM of India block will not participate in the meeting

While Mamata has attended the Niti Aayog meeting as soon as she raised the complaint of scarcity, others have boycotted the meeting using ‘scarcity’ as a weapon. Many see in this a ‘principled conflict’. On Tuesday, the day it presented the budget in Parliament, the Congress announced that three of its chief ministers, Karnataka’s Siddaramaiah, Telangana’s Revanth Reddy and Himachal Pradesh’s Sukhwinder Singh, would not attend the Sukh Niti Aayog meeting.

After this, AAP leader and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwat Mann, DMK leader and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin also announced one after the other that they would not attend the meeting. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has also written to Prime Minister Modi not to attend the meeting. However, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren has not said anything publicly. But there is talk that he may attend this meeting.

Congress appealed not to come to the meeting

According to Trinamool sources, a ‘Bharat’ meeting was held at Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s house on Tuesday evening. It was decided that the meeting would be held in coordination with the Parliamentary Chamber, but as soon as the meeting began, two Trinamool representatives from the Congress party, Derek O’Brien and Kalyan Banerjee, were informed that Congress Chief Minister P. NITI Aayog will boycott the Executive Council meeting. Then Trinamool representatives informed that Mamata will attend the meeting. He will use the Niti Aayog platform as an opportunity to protest against central indifference towards Bengal.

Chief Minister Mamata was to go to Delhi on Thursday. But for some inexplicable reason she could not go. Congress leader KC Venugopal also requested Chief Minister Mamata not to attend the meeting on Thursday. Venugopal said that I think Mamata Banerjee will not attend the NITI Aayog meeting like the Congress and other opposition chief ministers. The Chief Minister of Bengal will not participate in this meeting. Not only that, if he ignores the ‘unity’ of the ‘India Bloc’ and attends the meeting, the camp is likely to remain ‘alone’.

Mamata will use NITI Aayog’s platform to protest

But at least not in reality as claimed by Mamata. According to a Trinamool source, the Congress has virtually decided to boycott the Niti Aayog meeting within the ‘Bharat Bloc’ ‘unilaterally’. If the decision to boycott the meeting had been taken collectively, everything could have been done easily. Apart from this, it is necessary to keep the information before the people about how Bengal is being deprived. Also, it is important to be aware of the way Bengali partition is being talked about continuously. Hence the Chief Minister will attend this meeting.

On CM Mamata Banerjee’s presence in the NITI Aayog meeting, West Bengal Leader of Opposition Subhendu Adhikari said, “There is no problem in opposing it democratically, but Mamata Banerjee has said that she does not have faith in the NITI Aayog, so why?” Does he go to meetings? She has ruined West Bengal, interfered in foreign affairs issues and tried to turn the state into Pakistan…”
