In Bihar’s Bhojpur district, a man killed his wife and two innocent children in a fit of rage over a trivial matter. After which he left the house. Then he started walking there. The villagers informed the police about this. After arresting the accused, when the police asked him the reason for the murder, he said – I had ordered tea from my wife. He did not serve tea. Made fun of me. What then? I killed him.
Currently, the police are interrogating the accused. It is being said that the accused youth is mentally weak. Investigation is going on in this matter. The heartbreaking incident took place in Dudhia village of Ajimabad police station area. The deceased have been identified as 35-year-old wife Seema Devi, 8-year-old Soumya Kumari and 10-month-old baby Didwant Kumar, all residents of Milki village. Seema Devi’s husband Lalu Yadav has carried out this incident. Accused Lalu Yadav did not run away after committing the crime, but kept roaming outside the house.
Lalu told the police – On Tuesday I told Seema that I wanted to drink tea. Seema didn’t make tea and started making fun of me. I got angry. I took the khanti (sharp weapon) kept in the house and killed Seema first. His head was cut off. They then killed the daughter and son and also cut their throats.

The bodies were sent for post-mortem
The police were also stunned after hearing the words of the accused. The police said that the accused was roaming outside the house after the incident. The villagers called us and informed about this. The police team reached the spot. The accused was arrested. The sight upon entering the house was heart-wrenching. All three bodies were soaked in blood. Seema Devi’s head was separated from her body. Children’s throats were cut. The dead bodies were taken into custody and sent for post-mortem.
The accused is mentally weak
Police said- the accused is said to be mentally weak. We are now inquiring about it. The matter is being investigated from every angle. The khanti used in the murder has also been sent for investigation. Other relatives of the family and villagers are also being interrogated. On the other hand, people of the area are talking about different things after this incident. There is a fear in everyone’s mind. He says how can a person kill his wife and children just for the sake of tea?
