Devotees can take selfie with Ramlala, priests banned from carrying phones inside sanctum sanctorum

A big wish of Ramlala devotees has been fulfilled in Ramnagari Ayodhya. Now devotees can take a selfie with Ramlala. You can make Lord Rama reside in your heart with your mobile phone camera. For this, Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Samiti has made selfie points at two places in the Ram Mandir premises. With this another major change has been made in the temple system. The committee has also banned priests from carrying mobile phones inside the Ramlala sanctum sanctorum.

Now the priests have to deposit their phones in a locker outside the sanctum sanctorum. Let us tell you that there is already a ban on carrying mobile phones in the Ram temple. Mobile phones and other valuables of devotees visiting Ramlala are removed during the security check at the first barrier and kept in lockers. In such a situation, people could not take selfies in the Ram temple. However, now respecting the sentiments of devotees, Sri Ram Mandir Tirtha Kshetra Trust has set up two selfie points in waterproof tents on Darshan Marg.

It has installed two effigies of Ramlal and is decorated like a sanctum sanctorum. Both these selfie points were opened for devotees on Wednesday morning. After this, crowds of devotees gathered here to take selfies. In this order, General Secretary of Ram Mandir Trust Champat Rai held a meeting with the priests at Ganapati Bhavan. Meanwhile, he said that the priest will be able to take the phone inside the temple premises, but will not be allowed to take the phone inside the sanctum sanctorum.

Priests have to deposit their phones in the locker outside before entering the sanctum sanctorum. The general secretary of the trust gave a clear instruction to the priests that taking photographs and making videos inside the temple premises will be prohibited. Temple Construction Committee in-charge Gopal Rao, who was present at the meeting, told the priests not to take money from any devotee. He clearly said that even if a devotee wants to donate money, he should be asked to put it in the donation box. It was during this meeting that the temple committee appointed 20 new priests for worship services. The training of these priests has been completed recently. He was sent to work after explaining the code of conduct created for the worship of God.
