Digital rights of Junior NTR starrer Devara Rs. 150 crore sold

According to reports, Netflix has bought the digital rights of the film for Rs 150 crore, which is the highest for a South film these days. Earlier, the makers had fixed the total runtime of the film at 3 hours and 10 minutes.

The Junior NTR starrer directed by Koratala Siva has become the fastest Indian film to sell over 15,000 tickets in the USA. The craze of the first show on the first day can be gauged from the fact that more than 15,000 tickets were sold for the first day’s show. The pre-sale collection of ‘Deora’ has crossed the million dollar mark in the US, due to which the film is considered to have a $1 million opening.
Junior NTR will be seen in a double role
‘Deora’ will be Jr NTR’s 30th film. If reports are to be believed, the actor will be seen playing the role of both father and son on screen, which means that Jr. NTR might play a double role in the film. Recently, Jr. NTR shared another poster of the film, which confirmed his double role in the film. The poster had dual faces of Jr. NTR, giving off a very intense vibe.
Janhvi is debuting in Tollywood
Janhvi Kapoor is debuting in Tollywood with the film ‘Deora’. Janhvi will be seen in the lead role in this film. This is also his first collaboration with Jr. NTR. Apart from this, Saif Ali Khan will be seen in the role of villain in the film. The film will also feature actors like Ramya Krishna, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shruti Marate, Narayan, Shine Tom Chacko and Abhimayu Singh.

It is believed that along with action, a strong story will also be seen in the film. Jr. NTR’s film ‘Deora’ is said to be based on a true historical incident in Andhra Pradesh. According to reports, ‘Deora’ is being made on a big budget. Preparations are underway to make the film ‘Deora’ in two parts. The shooting of the second part of the film is expected to begin in 2025. The film is slated to hit theaters on 27 September 2024.
