Rain in Delhi
The weather is changing once again across the country. The departing monsoon has once again made a grand comeback. Rain has started in large parts of West Rajasthan, while Delhi NCR is also likely to receive rain in the next two days. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the monsoon was supposed to return to Delhi NCR 6 days ago, but it has been delayed. At present, a cyclonic circulation condition has developed over the Bay of Bengal and Arunachal Pradesh.
It is likely to affect many states of the country. According to India Meteorological Department officials, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Goa are witnessing heavy rains from Monday for the next two days. This period of rain will continue on Tuesday as well. Similarly, the weather is likely to change over Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi NCR from Tuesday evening and rains will start from Wednesday. Rainy season is expected to continue till September 27 in these states.
8 died on Monday
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Odisha are currently experiencing heavy rains. Hail has also fallen in many places. On Monday itself, 8 people were injured and later died due to hailstorm in Chhattisgarh. There is a chance of hail again today. According to meteorologists, whenever the monsoon returns, storms and heavy rains occur in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
Chance of hail in UP Bihar
In view of the recent situation, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for many states. Heavy rain is likely over Goa, Konkan coast and Karnataka in the next 24 hours. Similarly, there are indications of heavy rains in Marathwada and South Maharashtra. The Meteorological Department has declared yellow alert for Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, South Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, North Gujarat. According to the Meteorological Department, moderate to heavy rains may occur in all these states. Similarly, moderate to heavy rain is likely over Odisha and North-East India today. Heavy rains are likely in these states. On the other hand, large parts of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, except Bihar and Jharkhand, are likely to receive rain with hail.
