The mystery surrounding the shooting death of a patient admitted to GTB Hospital in national capital Delhi has become more complex. Patient Dr. Riazuddin’s wife has claimed that the miscreants had come to kill someone else. That patient has also undergone an abdominal operation. As her husband also underwent an abdominal operation, they accidentally shot her husband and fled. Riazuddin has held the GTB Hospital management responsible for the incident. He said that the wife of the patient whom the miscreants had come to kill had expressed apprehension of killing her husband.
She was also seeking a private ward for four days for security. Dr Riazuddin’s wife has given a statement to a media agency. The video of this statement is going viral on social media. In this video, the wife of deceased doctor Riazuddin said that her husband is a dentist. He had a clinic in Khajuri. As he drank too much, he developed a lump in his stomach and began to fall ill. In this situation, he left the practice. He was admitted to GTB Hospital to undergo an operation for the same lump.
On reaching the hospital, information about the shooting was received
The victim’s wife said that she was with her husband till 3 am on Sunday morning. After that, at her husband’s behest, she went home to put the children to bed. On reaching there, she was informed from the hospital that her husband had passed away. On this information she reached the hospital. Coming here, she came to know that her husband had been shot. He said that miscreants had come to shoot a patient admitted in the next ward. The wife of that patient had been demanding a private ward for four days.
Hospital management accused of negligence
She was repeatedly pleading that the miscreants wanted to kill her husband. In such a situation she can come anytime and kill the husband admitted in the general ward. However, the hospital management did not accept his request. Here, miscreants come to shoot her and accidentally kill her husband and leave. Dr. Riazuddin’s wife said that both the patients had undergone abdominal surgery, leaving the miscreants confused. Let us tell you that on Sunday around 4 o’clock in the evening, a young man entered the GTB Hospital (Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital) and shot Dr. Riazuddin, who was admitted here. These miscreants committed the crime in film style. Now the police is trying to identify the accused with the help of CCTV cameras installed in the hospital.
